HEAL is a self-paced, 52-session batterer intervention program for men.

These webinars give an overview of the HEAL program design - Acknowledgement, Cornerstones, Challenge, and Sankofa.  The intention of these webinars is to serve as an introduction and compliment an in-person training by Jeffrie Cape, provided by the New Mexico Coalition Against Domestic Violence on a regular basis since 2012.

This event will provide an overview of the complexities of understanding and addressing women’s use of force.  Particular attention paid to intervening in the lives of women who have resorted to using force against their intimate heterosexual partners.  Training participants will gain a deeper understanding of how the motivation, intent, and impact of women’s use of force is often distinctly different from that of men who batter their female partners.
